BRIAN WILSON BLOG
Brian Wilson is back in Baltimore, hon! The familiar voice you heard in the car on the way to school is working his magic from 12 PM – 3 PM on FM Talk 105.7.
You remember Brian from the ultra-successful B-104, but he's known across the country as a talk-radio host in cities such as New York, San Francisco, Atlanta, Houston and Washington, DC. As morning drive host at the Big Apple’s WABC, he assisted the station with its transition from music to talk. And as one half of the highly successful Z-Morning Zoo at Z-100, Wilson opened at Radio City Music Hall for two weeks of sold out performances for world-famous entertainers Seigfried and Roy.
Brian has appeared on major TV network programs, including Good Morning America, Entertainment Tonight, ABC World News Tonight. Additionally, he’s stirred it up on numerous cable shows, including Fox News and other channels. Brian also was a regular contributor to CNN. In a return to Atlanta in the 90s, Brian not only worked in talk radio, he also hosted Talk At Night, his own TV talk show.
Want to learn more about Brian's philosophy? He's the author of two books, A Media Guide For Market-Liberal Organizations, and The Little Black Book on Whitewater. The “Whitewater” book led to Brian’s appearance as guest on many of the country’s great talk radio stations, and opened the door to his ground-breaking Vacation Relief business.
As the founder of Vacation Relief, Inc., Brian was the first major-market talk radio host to “fill-in” around the country without leaving the comfort of his home studio. Wilson hosted radio programs in Seattle, Sacramento, Minneapolis-St. Paul, Kansas City, Dallas-Fort Worth, Charlotte, Atlanta, Baltimore, Washington, Philadelphia, San Francisco and New York and many others.
Brian is a graduate of Louisiana State University, and began his career in Baton Rouge. He and his broadcast journalist-wife Cassie and their five-year old Golden Retriever, Beanie live at an unlisted address, well out of gun-range of Baltimore City streets. |
