1. HOW TO ENTER
a. The “Buckle Up Tough Guy Contest” (“Contest”) will begin on Monday, May 5th, 2008 at 12pm Eastern Time (“ET”) and end on Friday, May 30th, 2008 at 1PM ET (“Contest Period”).
b. To participate in the Contest, you may enter through one (1) of the two (2) following methods:
i. Visit a “Buckle Up Tough Guy” (“BUTG”) appearance at the Royal Farms locations listed below at the time indicated. At the BUTG appearance, listeners will be asked to sign a “buckle up” pledge which is a personal promise to wear their seatbelt while driving. Contestants must fill out a pledge form with their first and last name, phone number, e-mail address, and date of birth. The pledge form will act as an automatic entry into the Contest. At the end of each appearance, four (4) people (“Qualifiers”) will be chosen at random from all eligible entries received onsite on that day. Up to eighty (80) Qualifiers will be selected from on-site entries. All entries must be received by 1:00PM at each Contest appearance. Only one (1) on-site entry per day. WHFS is not responsible for lost, stolen, mangled, misdelivered, illegible, incomplete, or untimely entries.

ii. Listeners may by signing an on-line pledge located at www.fmtalk1057.com. Follow the Contest links and instructions to enter and submit your first and last name, complete address, city, state, zip code, telephone number, date of birth, and a valid email address in the online entry form. Only one internet entry per person and one internet entry per email address is permitted. Internet entries will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry. The authorized account holder is the natural person who is assigned to the email address by an internet access provider, online service provider or other organization that is responsible by assigning email address or the domain associated with the submitted email address. Multiple participants are not permitted to share the same email address. All entries submitted become the sole property of WHFS and will not be acknowledged or returned. Use of any device to automate entry is prohibited. Proof of submission of an entry shall not be deemed proof of receipt by WHFS. WHFS’s computer is the official time keeping device for the Contest. All entries must be received by 1:00PM on Friday, May 30th, 2008. WHFS is not responsible for entries not received due to difficulty accessing the internet, service outage or delays, computer difficulties or other technological glitches.
2. ELIGIBILITY RESTRICTIONS
a. The Contest is open to all WHFS listeners who are Maryland licensed drivers 18 years of age or older at the time of entry and who legally reside in the greater Baltimore area. Employees of WHFS (the “Station”), its licensee, its corporate parents, subsidiaries, and affiliates, its advertising agencies, participating sponsors/promotional partners, other radio stations in the Baltimore metropolitan area and the members of their immediate families and/or households are ineligible to participate or win. Subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
b. A contestant may win a contest conducted by the station only once every thirty days. Only one (1) winner per household is permitted in any Station Contest.
c. Winner must hold a valid government issued photo ID and sign and return any required Affidavit of Eligibility and/or Publicity/Liability Release.
d. Contestants are required to provide truthful information and the Station will reject
and delete any entry that it discovers to be false or fraudulent. The Station will
disqualify any entry from individuals who do not meet the eligibility requirements,
and the Station will also delete any entry received from persons under the age of
13 in compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act.
3. PRIZES
a. One (1) Grand Prize will be awarded. The Grand Prize is a 2008 Ford F-150 4x2 SS Pickup Truck, equipped with standard features and a manufacturers suggested retail price (“MSRP”) of $20,960. Some restrictions may apply. Federal, state and local taxes, if any, are the sole responsibility of the winner, who will receive an IRS Form 1099 reflecting the final actual value of any prize valued at $600 or more. Grand Prize winner will be solely responsible for any car title, tax, tags, proof of insurance and license and registration fees, emissions inspection, freight, delivery, dealer prep, additional equipment, all federal, state and local taxes, insurance, gasoline, vehicle maintenance, all other fees and expenses not specified herein associated with the receipt and use of this prize vehicle. Prize winner must provide proof of valid insurance and a valid Maryland driver’s license to take delivery. Delivery must take place at Norris Ford within seven days of grand finale event. Norris Ford is located at 901 Merritt Blvd, Baltimore, Maryland, 21222. All obligations must be met before the winner takes possession of the vehicle. The winner will accept the chosen prize vehicle “as is”. The interior and exterior color of the prize vehicle will be determined by the dealer. Any additional car options will be the responsibility of the winner. Station and Sponsor accept no responsibility for repairing any real or supposed damage to the prize vehicle from this Contest. If the Grand Prize is not available at the end of the Contest, a substitution of equal or greater value will be made by the Station or Sponsor. Neither the Station nor the other Sponsor have made or are responsible in any manner for any warranties, representations or guarantees, express or implied, in fact or law, relating to the Grand Prize vehicle including without limitation, its quality, mechanical condition, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose, with the exception of any standard manufacturer's warranty that may apply to the vehicle. Any additional vehicle options not specified herein are subject to availability and will be the responsibility of the Grand Prize winner. In the event that the Grand Prize winner is not able to obtain valid automobile insurance or does not hold a valid Maryland Driver’s license, and/or in the event that a Grand Prize winner is unable to meet any other eligibility requirements, an alternate winner will be chosen randomly from existing entries to go through the same process as the originally selected qualifier.
b. The Grand Prize is to be picked up at Norris Ford, located at 901 Merritt Boulevard, Baltimore, Maryland 21222. The winner will forfeit any prize or prize certificate not claimed within forty-five (45) days of winning. Due to the nature of this Prize and this Contest, the Grand Prize will not be shipped to winner.
c. At the winner’s discretion, winner may opt instead for any other automobile sold at Norris Automotive Group. However, if winner selects a car with a lesser MSRP, winner will not receive any cash or credit or any kind whatsoever to compensate for the difference. If winner selects a car with a higher MSRP, they will be required to pay the balance in cash. Credit for the higher priced vehicle will be at the MSRP of the prize vehicle deducted from the MSRP of the higher priced vehicle. Norris Automotive Group has the right to exclude certain vehicles from the swap of the prize car at its sole discretion. The prizes are expressly limited to the item(s) listed above and do not include taxes, gratuities or any other expenses. Other restrictions may apply.
4. WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION
a. Decisions of the Station management with respect to the Contest are final.
b. At the conclusion of each of the twenty (20) BUTG appearances, Station staff will randomly select four (4) Qualifiers for this Contest. These eighty (80) Qualifiers will be notified by Station staff immediately after each drawing by telephone. In addition, twenty-five (25) Qualifiers will be randomly selected from among all eligible online entries received from May 5, 2008 to May 30, 2008 and contacted by Station staff no later than May 30, 2008. Qualifiers not answering their phone will be skipped and station will move on to next random qualifier due to time constraints. There will be a total of one hundred and five (105) Qualifiers selected for this Contest. All Qualifiers will be invited to the Grand Prize Event on Saturday, May 31st at High Topps Backstage Grill on York Road in Timonium, Maryland. Qualifiers must execute and return any required Affidavit of Eligibility/Release of Liability Prize Acceptance Form within prior to the Grand Prize Event, or they will not be eligible to participate in the Grand Prize Event.
c. Grand Prize event will be held at High Topps Backstage Grill at 2306 York Road, in Timonium, Maryland 21093 on Saturday, May 31st. Qualifiers must be in attendance at the Grand Prize Event to be eligible to win the Grand Prize. Qualifiers must register onsite by 3:30pm (ET) with Station staff to participate in the Grand Prize Event. Any Qualifier who is unable to register on time for whatever reason will be disqualified. No stand-ins or proxies will be allowed. Upon registration, Qualifiers will be randomly assigned an envelope which contains a number inside. Qualifiers will then, in numerical order as dictated by their randomly assigned number, select one (1) key out of a total number of keys available and attempt to start the vehicle. The total number of keys will equal the number of timely registered Qualifiers. The first Qualifier to successfully start the vehicle using their randomly selected key will be the Grand Prize Winner, at which point, the Contest will immediately end, and no other Qualifiers will be allowed to attempt to start the vehicle with their key. If for any reason, none of the keys successfully starts the vehicle, the winner will be randomly selected from all qualifiers by an HFS representative.
d. Grand Prize winner must be present at the Grand Prize event in order to win the Grand Prize.
e. Odds of a Qualifier winning the Grand Prize depend on the number of participating Qualifiers. The maximum number of Qualifiers is 1:105.
f. Grand Prize Winner must execute and return any required Affidavit of Eligibility and/or Release of Liability Prize Acceptance Form within seven days of notification attempt or prize will be forfeited. An alternate qualifier would then be selected at random from remaining entries.
5. CONDITIONS
a. Payments of all federal, state and local taxes are solely the responsibility of the winners. Grand Prize winner will be required to sign an IRS Form W-9 or the equivalent. Failure to provide an accurate and complete Social Security Number, if required, is a violation of federal law and will result in forfeiture of prize.
b. By participating in the Contest, the winner agrees to have their name, voice, or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this Contest without additional financial or other compensation, and, where legal, to sign a publicity release confirming such consent prior to acceptance of the prize.
c. Prior to awarding any prize or prize certificate, the Station in its sole discretion may require Contest winner to sign a liability release, agreeing to hold the Station, its corporate licensee, its parent, subsidiary and affiliated corporations, and the officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents and representatives of each of them harmless against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize or participation in the Contest.
d. The Station, in is sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person tampering with the entry process, the operation of the Station’s Web Site or is otherwise in violation of the rules. It further reserves the right to cancel, terminate or modify the Contest if it is not capable of completion as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention or technical failures of any sort.
e. The Station reserves the right to make changes in the rules of the Contest, including the substitution of a prize or equivalent value, which will become effective upon announcement. If due to circumstances beyond the control of the Station, any competition or prize-related event is delayed, rescheduled, postponed or cancelled, the Station reserves the right, but not the obligation, to cancel or modify the Contest and shall not be required to award a substitute prize.
f. Failure to comply with the Contest rules may result in a Contestant’s disqualification solely at the discretion of the Station.
g. The Station is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the Contest, or in the announcement of a prize.
h. Copies of the written Contest rules and a list of winners (when complete) are available during regular business hours at the main studio of WHFS 1423 Clarkview Rd. Suite 100, Baltimore, MD 21209.
