Congressman Elijah Cummings

Originally from Chicago, Troy is a broadcast veteran, having won numerous awards and honors including a Marconi Award from the St. Louis Radio Association for Best Male Talent, the 2000 Baltimore Achievement In Radio Awards for Best Morning Show and Best New Talent in Market, The Key to the City of Baltimore in 2002, The Mayor's Business Recognition Award in 2002 for outstanding work on the Baltimore Believe Campaign, and a Governor's Citation in 2006 for his contributions to Maryland. Troy attended Central State University in Wilberforce, Ohio. He is a Prince Hall Mason and Shriner, Vice President of Broadcast for the Baltimore Chapter of the Association of Black Media Workers, and a board member of the Baltimore Area Convention and Visitors Association Diversity and Tourism Council. Troy also serves as Ombudsman on the board of Community Media of Baltimore City.
